Bookbinder Caro de Bruin and visual artist Isa Tenhaeff have joined forces making experimental artist books. At the GIAB 2012 they present some of their work.

Caro de Bruin combines her passion for paper and printing techniques in experimental hand bound books and paper objects. Major aim in all her work is to achieve maximum visual effect with a minimum of materials. Even a single sheet of paper and a single stamp can create a totally unexpected result.

Isa Tenhaeff's work consists of installations from materials such as paintings, drawings, building materials and objects from the trash. Her work is fuelled by historical images and narratives - finding absurd similarities to our world today. Using text, photographs and performance, she offers the viewer her slapstick commentary on constructed sculptural environments.
